lots of Gym time

For the last few months, Bryton and I have been going to the Little Gym in Fredericksburg and also to Open Gym in King George. Today was the last day for the Little Gym for this semester. He recieved a little certificate...it was too cute! He has had a lot of fun with his friends and learned lots of new tricks!

We'll continue to go the Open Gym in King George every week to play. They always do lots of fun little things like parachutes, hula hoops, and trampoline time. Bryton has really grown to love playing with the parachute!

Road trip to NY

Bryton and both Grandma's having fun together!

Spending an afternoon skiing

Bryton and I rode the carousel at the mall...which he LOVED!

Yesterday we returned from spending the week in New York visiting Scott's parents. It was the first time in a few years that the whole Lew family had been together, and this time there were 2 new additions! Bryton and Camille had a blast playing...and little Camille started walking after seeing how much fun Bryton was having on his feet! Scott and I got a date night, went skiing, and just got to hang out. Now we are back home and getting back to our routine!

Book Worm

Bryton LOVES books! He sits in his chair on a daily basis and empties his book basket one book at a time. Keeping books on a bookshelf is impossible in our house!

A nightly ritual

Last year for Christmas, Scott got a racetrack that he would set up in our basement and play with occasionally. Since this house doesn't have a basement, the small office/extra living room has become Scott's play room. Every night after dinner the boys sit and race the cars around the track. Bryton has figured out how to do it all by himself, and so it really is fun to watch. A true bonding experience!

Deer and Trucks

Bryton thinks his big Tonka dump truck that Santa brought him is a ride on toy. Of course, Daddy gave him that idea when he decided to take him for a ride on it around the house! What am I going to do with these boys?!?

The deer are pretty excited that the snow has finally melted and they can see the grass again. We have had frequent visitors in our backyard over the last few days. Bryton LOVES deer! He stands at the windows calling for them, "De, de, de". Unfortunately, he doesn't understand that when he knocks on the windows it spooks them and makes them run back into the woods.
