Preschool Graduation

Preschool Graduation
May 30, 2013
I think Preschool graduations are kind of silly, but I have to admit the little ceremony that they did for Bryton's school was pretty darn cute. They sang fun songs and each one was announced with what they wanted to be when they grow up. Bryton's response was "a scientist that studies recycling".

This is Bryton and Miss Myung. He LOVED her. He had to tell her bye three different times that night. I thought the poor thing was going to cry. He wanted to make sure he could mail her cards so she knew that he wasn't going to forget about her. She was such a sweet teacher.

Leah and Bryton were in the same class this year.

I love this little picture of the three of us. Cohen stayed home with a babysitter because it would have been a late night for him.

Last day of Preschool

Where has this year gone? It has been such a great year for Bryton. He has learned so much and surprises us everyday with what he knows. He is all enrolled for kindergarten and I can't believe it. We have a summer full of activities and fun planned. August will be here before we know it!

Mid-May this and that

Cohen's playgroup walked to the park for a picnic. They blew bubbles and fed the ducks. Everyone had a great time. Doesn't he look big in that picture...sigh...

Bryton has been talking about having a tea party forever. He plays with our neighbor in her Barbie room all the time  and asking when we get to have a real tea party. So, Scott was out of town and we had a full on tea party one Saturday morning. It was fun and he hasn't mentioned it since....mark that off the list :)
The cast is off so we are back to crafting!
Where did he learn to do this?!

It is almost guaranteed that you will find at least one stuffed animal with us anytime you see Cohen lately. He LOVES his stuffed animals and they go everywhere with us!
Nothing like some colored water to entertain the boys for an afternoon :)
We went on a surprise trip to the carousel  which is always a treat!

Cast FREE!

May 13th was a super exciting day at our house. Bryton got his cast off! He got released from his doctor to return to his regular activities and with time he would gain full strength in his arm again. As you can see in this picture, it wasn't exactly straight when they took the cast off. Everyday it is getting a little bit straighter and a little bit stronger. It still isn't perfectly straight, but it is getting there. He is playing soccer and swimming which are both helping him use it again. We are SO glad to have that behind us!

Mother's Day and Muir Woods

We painted all of our Mother's Day cards to be sent out in the mail.

Bryton's preschool had a Mother's Day tea that was just the cutest. They all sang songs and had treats for the Moms. He had been working on the songs for a few weeks and telling how much I was going to love them. He always gets so shy when he is in front of a group of people. They presented the Mom's with little hand painted gifts. It was such a special morning!

We spent the Saturday before Mother's Day at the Muir Woods looking at the redwoods. Oh my goodness, amazing! We had such a wonderful day! The boys loved exploring and I was just in awe of how gorgeous the trees were. I hope we make a trip back there soon.

Bryton carried my phone around snapping pictures of everything in sight!

Cohen climbed anything he could!

We stopped at Muir Beach on our way home and the boys stuck their toes in the water. It was a little chilly!
