Bryton's Christmas Program

Bryton's school Christmas program was a Veggie Tales Christmas Spectacular. We don't have any pictures that you can actually see his little face singing because he was hidden behind the other kiddos. It was very fun to watch him in his first of many school programs! He was so excited to get all dressed up for it and he even made sure that we had gotten his hair cut for his big performance.

Scott's birthday weekend

Scott's birthday fell on a Friday this year, therefore we got to help him celebrate all weekend. We started it off by going to dinner and looking at Christmas lights. Cohen fell asleep on our drive around town, so he missed out on cake. Don't worry, he had a piece the next day! On Saturday, we got up and went to spend the day in San Francisco to take in all the Christmas decorations. We visited a few of the hotels to see all the enormous trees, Macy's, Union Square ice rink, and the boy's favorite the Disney store :)

We had such a fun day in the chaos of the city. It was also SantaCon in San Francisco that day, which made for some pretty hilarious entertainment!

Bump, Field Trip and Squadron Party

I got a call from the school the a few weeks before Christmas break that Bryton had flipped over a bar and hit his head. He came home with a pretty good goose egg between his eyes. The next morning he woke up with 2 black swollen eyes and  the goose egg had spread down to the bridge of his nose. He was also complaining of a headache. Just to be safe, we had him checked out. He had a possible mild concussion and stayed home for a the day. He was restricted from activities for a week. Of course, he didn't want to slow down at all! The black eyes stuck around for weeks making all of our Christmas pictures kind of funny :)

Bryton's first class field trip was to the Christmas tree farm. Cohen and I got to go with the class for the afternoon. His school doesn't have a school bus, so the parents drive the children on the class field trips. It was a fun afternoon. They went on hay rides and got to explore through the trees. We sat around a campfire and ate popcorn together. Cohen felt so big getting to hang out with Bryton and his class.

Scott's squadron party was a lot of fun this year. There was an ugly sweater contest between a lot of the guys and Scott won the prize! I think it was the sparkly red bowtie that put him over the top, what do you think?!
