Big Helper

Bryton is always wanting to be the "big helper" when we are working around the house!

Taking a snack break in his favorite place of the house. Not too long ago he could stand under the shelf, but now he is too tall...he's getting so big!

We had a playdate with our buddies this week. The boys all had a great time doing their own thing, but one day they will actually play together!

Bryton got to paint for the first time last week. He loved it, of course! Who knows, maybe we have a future little artist on our hands :)

We made his Valentine's to take to his little party at Tot Time. It was too cute! They made their little bags with their handprints and the sign of "I love you". Then they got to use lots of stickers to decorate them....a new found love for Bryton! Stickers! When we got home he sat and looked through all his goodies...his favorite are the lollipops!

You would have thought it was Christmas at our house with all the goodies that arrived on our doorstep last week! Bryton got so many Valentine treats...a book, crayons & color book, movie, pajamas, socks. Wow! We have one loved little boy on our hands! Thanks for making him feel so special!

Remind me again...

Where do we live?!?! Alaska or Virginia...This weekend we had a fabulous snow storm that brought us 2 feet of snow and a power outage that lasted about 30 hours. The snow was beautiful, but the power outage we could have done without :)

It wasn't the Nascar kick off and Super Bowl weekend we had planned for, but we made it through nonetheless!

While we ventured out trying to stay warm, we found this dog wandering the roads. We stopped and to help him find his way home. Luckily, his owner came and picked him up right away! He was a sweet dog, I think Scott would have scooped him up and brought him home!

This was Bryton's attire as we hung out in the house on Saturday & Sunday....pj's underneath, footed pj's on top, sweatshirt, winter jacket, and hat. You know it is cold your house when the thermostat is at its lowest point and that it reads 48 degrees....brrrrr! Luckily we were able to leave for most of the day on Sunday to keep warm.

Bryton had a blast playing in the snow before we lost power on Saturday.

Party, Playdate, & Mr. Potato Head

Bryton and I have stayed busy over the last week. Scott was traveling with work, and so it was just the two of us!

Bryton's little friend, Mateo, celebrated his 2nd birthday on Sunday. We went to his party and had a great time! They played games, listened to stories, and of course had yummy cupcakes. The party was precious. I can't believe we'll be doing that in just a few months....

Last week, Bryton's Elmo airplane ran out of batteries. You would have thought the world was coming to an end! As you can tell, all was A-ok once the batteries were replaced and the juice cup was refilled :)

Thanks to Uncle Bill, we have a new favorite in the house! Mr. Potato head has become the popular toy of the week.

How does a child's hair get this crazy during nap time?

We love playdates! We went to play with Wesley last week. The boys had a blast playing, while the mommies got to sit and chat. How cute are they sitting together?!?! Wesley's mom is a photographer, so of course the picture is precious! Can't wait for her to take some pictures of Bryton this spring...and maybe he'll smile this time :)
