I knew it was coming...

After our ER trip, with his I got an X-Ray sticker
I knew having a house full of boys would lead to lots of bumps and bruises. Last week it was a nice black eye that turned all different colors through out the week. This week it was a trip to the ER for a hurt wrist. I was cleaning up from dinner and Bryton came running into the kitchen crying and holding his wrist. I had no clue what had happened, and I couldn't understand a word he was saying from all the tears. I waited for an hour to watch it, but it was swollen and he never stopped crying and holding it. We headed to the ER. I still didn't know what had happened, except that he fell. In the car the truth came out. He had been up on the back of the couch and fallen off onto the cushions. I am guessing that he bent his wrist the wrong way trying to catch himself. After a few x-rays, it showed it was just a sprain. After a few days, he is totally back to normal!

Maybe now he will believe me when I say that climbing on the back of the couch is a bad idea :)

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day from the Lew boys!!
Bryton had his box of goodies ready for school and had a great time at his little party. He came home with tons of treats and trinkets. We made his friends chocolate scented playdough and they seemed to really like it.  We spent the afternoon making a batch for ourselves to play with too. Our squadron had its kids Valentine's party on Sunday afternoon. There were treats, crafts and a bouncy house. Bryton is sporting a nice black eye after having a run in with a little girls knee in the bouncy house, but it hasn't slowed him down!

Making our own batch of chocolate scented play dough....it smells soooo good!

Picture time

We had Cohen's one year pictures done and took the opportunity to attempt a few family shots as well. We learned very quickly that an afternoon photo shoot was not the best idea with these crazy boys. Getting a picture with all four of us looking in the same direction and looking even remotely pleasant was a true challenge. Luckily we did get a few good ones! Now I just have to figure out which ones I want printed and hung up around the house.

Visitors from NY

Scott's parents made their way out to see us the day after Cohen's birthday to spend a few weeks. We had lots of park time, walks, and time to explore the area. Scott was able to get away from work for a few days to hang out with us too!  Thanks for coming Nana and Grandpa!

Nana and Cohen digging at the park
We couldn't resist being outside on a  70 degree day. Cohen enjoyed some munchies while we hung out :)
Bryton found a stick that he couldn't get enough of.
Jumping to Grandpa off the rocks at the park...so brave :)
We took them to Pier 39 in San Francisco to check out the sights, including the sea lions!
Taking a closer look!
Daddy even got roped into doing some crafts on his day off!
Another day at the soccer field...Bryton is getting so much better!
Fun times with our friends during our little Super Bowl party!
How cute is this?!?!
We spent an afternoon in Napa and this water fountain was the highlight for Bryton.
Staying entertained :)
Lots of time in the playroom playing "campout" with the little wooden campfire and all!
Cohen looks so sad here, he has been sick again this week.
