Again??

The day we were leaving for Thanksgiving break, I picked up Bryton from school and he had an ice pack on his wrist. He had fallen off the monkey bars at recess. He immediately started crying when he saw me and said it hurt really bad. His teacher had had it looked at by the nurse but she didn't think it was anything to be concerned about so she sent him back to class. By the time school was out it was starting the swelling process and he couldn't move it at all. Here we go...off to urgent care for x-rays. 4 hours later we find it is definitely broken and they put it in a splint for the week. We will see orthopedics when we return from our trip to Arkansas for a cast.
After some good pain medicine, he is smiling and at 8pm we get on the road to start our drive.

Fast forward 10 days due to our trip and Thanksgiving holiday, a shiny red cast for Bryton! At least this time we have a short cast and it is the non-dominant arm! It will come off the week of Christmas for another splint for another month...
