One of the biggest drawbacks of the summer was the lack of lake days! The boat sat and got dusty, and so the first weekend Scott was home was lake day! It is an ordeal to get there and get home but it sure is relaxing and fun while we are there....until Lew boat drama happens.

The perfect day on the lake...quiet and peaceful. C took a nap while we swam.
Generally ropes aren't required to hold your motor on your boat! Its the Lew way to have boat drama. We were having a great day until it was time to come in and found that the trim wouldn't go up/down anymore. It made it very difficult to get the boat out of the water with a giant motor stuck on the concrete....we (I) ended up breaking off a piece of the prop as I pulled us up the boat ramp. Scott carried the motor as I very. slowly. drove us up.....oh it is was a sight! Thankfully a kind man had some rope to help us tie it up to get it home. We later found a hose had come loose that emptied all of some fluid that does that job...can you tell I know what I am talking about?? Yeah, I don't, anywho it is fixed now!! yay! we are ready for another boating season :)
